Wanborough Show is a small country show. It is a one day event, bigger than a village fete, but small enough not to lose its intimacy, unlike some of the larger events in the area.
Located in the village of Wanborough just 1.5 miles from J15 of the M4 and 5 miles from the centre of Swindon, amid a cluster of villages on the edge of the Wiltshire downs, it is easily accessible for many people.
The Show is organised by a committee of volunteers on a 'not-for-profit' basis. All charges for commercial stands, at the gate and other money raised is used to cover the costs of staging the event. Any surplus funds at the end of the year are distributed to local organisations and worthy causes.
The Wanborough Show aims to provide a full day's entertainment, including the opportunity to buy goods and services. With this in mind we are inviting Craft Producers, Small Businesses and Traders to take stands at the show in order to publicise and sell their products. The aim is to provide our visitors with a range of unusual and unique goods that they can browse throughout the day and may be interested in buying.
If you are a craft producer or have a trade stand and would like to attend, please see our online booking information below. All bookings are at the discretion of the Trade & Craft co-ordinator. In order to maintain the quality of products on sale and support the village show ethos, we will not accept applications from market stalls, secondhand re-sellers or sellers of domestic goods.
In the interest of preventing duplication of stands, please consult the 'Traders attending list' showing stands already booked.
This Year's Show is on Saturday 19th August
Wanborough Show exists for the enjoyment of the local community. However we do not forget that our community relies on many volunteer organisations, clubs and charitable institutions. To celebrate this Wanborough Show is pleased to offer discounted trade space to any such 'not for profit' organisations that help the local community or its residents through local or national fund raising. We are happy for you to promote and fund raise in anyway you would like providing this does not impact our own fundraising activites, please read our notes below for details
NOTES FOR NON-PROFIT GROUPS:
Wanborough Show Society provides space to local non-profit groups as part of its contribution to the community. In return for this we make the following conditions:
- There is a nominal charge of £12 covering the cost of entry for staff and helpers. This covers up to 4 helpers and 2 vehicles
- Your stand should be attractive, informative and entertaining.
- Draw / raffle tickets may be sold, but only from your stand, not around the field.
- Goods for sale should be good quality. Food items should be properly labelled with ingredients.
- Activities must be restricted to those agreed with the booking co-ordinator
- All Rubbish and unsold stock must be removed from the showground at close of business
- Gate Passes are not valid after 12 Noon. Helpers arriving after that time will be required to pay

Please state the number of vehicles you wish to bring; passes will be issued for up to 2 vehicles per stall. Dispensations will be made for disability groups.
Please restrict your activities to those agreed with the booking co-ordinator. Failure to do so can cause problems with other groups or trade stalls who may have paid to undertake those activities for us. If we receive a complaint from any such group you will be asked to desist.
SAFETY NOTE - Please ensure shelters and tents are sufficiently robust. Due to the somewhat exposed nature of the site lightweight domestic gazeboes are not suitable, and in the event of bad weather are likely to collapse causing damage or injury.
