Wanborough Dressage 2011

Firstly, thanks must go to our judge, Caroline Evans, from Woolstone Farm for giving up her day.

Congratulations to Macca Sanders on Shamrock for winning 1^st place in Class 1 (Intro) and Tara Moore on My Shadow for winning 1^st place in Class 2 (Prelim). Macca and Shamrock were also placed 3^rd in Class 2, gaining them the best ‘Overall Score’ of the day. Well done ladies!

The weather was on our side this year as we narrowly missed the rain. All horses (and competitors) were very well behaved and we saw some lovely tests ridden

We had several young and green horses this year that behaved admirably through out the morning and all horses were very smartly turned out. Best plaits of the day went to Anne Pyle on Paddy (as recognised by the judge!).

Following the dressage, some of the competitors took part in a ‘just for fun’ Chase Me Charlie competition which got up to an impressive 3’6! Well done to Vikki and Mystic for jumping the highest.

Finally, thank you to all competitors for making the day enjoyable and well done to everyone!
