Instructions

Please complete one entry for each horse and rider combination you wish to enter.

Ensure that you have read the Rules and Conditions on this page and agree to these as part of your entry.

Click the Add button for each class you wish to enter. You will see these appear in your shopping cart on the left. When you have selected all the classes you want for the Horse and Rider, click on the 'Show My entries' button in the shopping cart and review your entry. If you are happy with your entries click on 'Complete Entry' and fill in all the required fields and click 'Confirm Entry'
 
Terms and Conditions

RULES AND CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

  1. The Promoters reserve the right to cancel or put forward any event if it is found expedient to do so and to vary the order and composition of this schedule to suit the conditions of the day including limiting entries in any class if necessary
  2. The Organizers reserve the right to refuse entry without stating the reason for so doing.
  3. The Promoters shall not be liable to any claim in respect of damage or accident to any person (whether competitor or onlooker), livestock, vehicle or property howsoever caused in connection with or arising out of this show and it shall be deemed a condition of entry that each competitor or onlooker shall hold the Promoters blameless and that he or she shall be deemed to indemnify the Promoters against legal proceedings, expenses or damages whatsoever arising from accident or any other incident.
  4. Hard hats to the approved standard must be worn and correctly fastened at all times when mounted. It is recommended that riding hats with BSI kite mark to standard EN1384:1997 or PAS105:1998 and body protectors are worn for jumping.
  5. Misuse of whips or bad language will lead to disqualification.
  6. Winners of perpetual trophies will be required to sign a trophy form on the day and pay a £10 deposit. Trophies must be been returned in good and clean condition by the 19th May 2013
  7. Every effort will be made to allow competitors to enter as many classes as they wish but it is the competitors responsibility to ensure they are able to get to each class they have entered. It will be the judges discretion to allow a late competitor to enter the ring. No refund can be given in the event of an earlier class over running.
  8. Advanced entry fees will only be refunded if the event is cancelled. A Veterinary or doctor certificate will be required should a horse or rider be unfit to compete.
  9. Cantering and trotting is only allowed in the designated warm up area. No galloping is allowing any where on the show ground.
    A Horse/ Pony may only be ridden once in each class.
  10. All dogs must be kept on a lead.
  11. We work on the premise that the judges decision is final any objection to be to secretary to be made within 30 minuets of event, together with £10 refundable at the discretion of committee.
  12. ALL COMPETITORS TAKE PART AT THEIR OWN RISK.
 
Ring 1 Entry

Ring 1

Class : 1-11JUMPING 2ft3 - 2ft6 – open to all

Class : 1-12JUMPING 2ft6 - 2ft9 – open to all

Class : 1-13JUMPING 2ft9 - 3ft0 – open to all

Class : 1-14JUMPING 3ft0 - 3ft3 – open to all

Class : 1-15JUMPING 3ft3 - 3ft6 – open to all
 
Ring 2 Entry

Ring 2

For Pairs Jumping only enter the primary rider on the form

Class : 2-21LEAD REIN JUMPING (1ft6) - riders 10 years and under

Class : 2-22UNDER 12s JUMPING (1ft9in) – riders 12 years and under, must not be lead

Class : 2-23TRULY NOVICE JUMPING (2ft) Not competing in ring one and combination never to have been placed in any jumping competition

Class : 2-24NOVICE JUMPING (2ft3in) not competing in ring one and combination never to have won more than £10 show jumping

Class : 2-25PAIRS RELAY JUMPING (2ft) – one round completed by each horse and rider.

Class : 2-26HORSE AND HOUND RELAY (1ft6) – one round by horse & rider followed by one round by dog & handler.
 
Ring 3 Entry

Ring 3

Class : 3-31BEST TURNED OUT 13.2hh and under ; 30% for each rider, tack, horse and 10% for overall appearance

Class : 3-32BEST TURNED OUT over 13.2hh ; 30% for each rider, tack, horse and 10% for overall appearance

Class : 3-33LEAD REIN PONY 12.2hh and under. Riders 10 years and under

Class : 3-34CHILDS FIRST PONY 12.2hh and under. Riders 12 years & under, judged on pony suitability.

Class : 3-35CHILD HANDLER - judged on child’s ability to confidently handle pony in hand at walk and trot, 8years and under, maybe accompanied

Class : 3-36CHILD HANDLER - judged on child’s ability to confidently handle pony in hand at walk and trot, 9-12 years

Class : 3-37VETRAN – horse/pony 18 years and over

Class : 3-38COLOURED – best skewbald, piebald, spotted, odd coloured

Class : 3-39FAMILY PONY/HORSE – All round horse or pony, judged on suitability for all family members to ride

Class : 3-40EX-RACEHORSE – horses that have been in training and raced under rules
